Samsung SGH E590 | Mobile camera with a tripod

Samsung's E590 is probably the first attempt towards bundling a phone with a tripod. It comes with an extended set of accessories including a Bagpod that enables the handset to be fixed on almost any surface.

This lightest camera phone of its class - weighs 65 g only, houses a 3 Mp auto-focus camera, but doesn't have a flashlight. A 4x digital zoom is available.

The keys are soft and the key response is great.

E590 supports wireless networking with a Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR module. But you just cannot transfer Java applications. Wired networking can only be done through USB 1.1 only, which restricts the speed. It has a full GPRS and EDGE support, but not 3G. It has a total of 60 Mb user memory and a support for a microSD expansion card; a 512 Mb expansion card is bundled with the handset.
It houses a 800 mAh lithium battery, which gives you 5.5 hr of talktime, up to 300 hr in standby mode and up to 1.5 hr of recharging period.
